Soak the reed bodies and cleaned\/removed tuning pins in a mild soapy water bath overnight. Let them dry for 24 hours. Smell them. If they stink, or have any slimy residue on them anywhere, clean them off and soak\/dry them again as detailed above. When you are satisfied that they are clean (and not a moment sooner), send the reed bodies and tuning pins to us for repair. Send the damaged drone reed(s) to us for complete refurbishment (which includes new tongues, new bridles, and if required, re-machined flats, chased threads, and re-chamfered ends) along with... <\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>10.00 U.S. for <em>Each<\/em> single-tongued<\/strong> <em><strong>reed<\/strong><\/em>, or <\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>15.00 U.S. for <em>Each<\/em> double-tongued<\/strong><strong> <span style=\"color: #008000;\">DUATONE\u2122<\/span> reed<\/strong>, <\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>plus a <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>minimum 10.00 U.S.<\/em><\/span> U.S. for insured <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">return U.S. mail <\/span><\/strong>, or <\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>plus a <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>minimum 15.00 U.S.<\/em><\/span> for registered <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">return to Canada. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>If you opt to send more than one complete set of reeds for repair, shipping costs will be more.<\/strong> (Other out-of-country deliveries may be more, with costs determined by destination country, weight, value of contents, and preferred method of conveyance.) <\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Example #1<\/strong>: One complete set of <strong>SYNTHE-DRONE\u2122<\/strong> drone reeds needing repair would require a sub-total of $30.00 U.S. (which includes $10 U.S. for each of three single-tongued reeds) <strong>plus<\/strong> $10.00 U.S. for U.S.P.S. Priority Mail shipping, for a grand total of $40 U.S. <strong>if you live within the United States<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Example #2<\/strong>: One complete set of <strong>DUATONE\u2122<\/strong> drone reeds needing repair would require a sub-total of $45.00 U.S. (which includes $15.00 U.S. for each of three double-tongued reeds) <strong>plus<\/strong> $15.00 U.S. for U.S.P.S.
